OKR circle
Meetup
Meet others around you to share and learn.
The "We love OKR" Meetup is a platform organized by the OKR Circle for all those who have already gained experience with OKRs and appreciate the exchange on this topic. Of course OKR interested people are also very welcome. We meet with other OKR enthusiasts and benefit from each other's experience.
Our Meetup is usually opened by a practical example. We invite people who already have intensive experience with OKRs and would like to share it. This "experience report" is also the opener for the joint, subsequent discussion.
Our OKR-Meetup-Groups

the meetup has taken place.
At this OKR Meetup, Magnus Hofer, Director of Product & Platform Experience at Crowdhouse, talked about his experiences with OKR. On the basis of objectives, key results and some artifacts, Magnus took us on the way to the Crowdhouse with OKRs. He went into the learnings and adjustments that Crowdhouse has made to the OKR system. Crowdhouse has been using OKRs since 2018 and has now found its own way of adapting objectives and key results for the crowdhouse-specific context. Magnus started at Crowdhouse as an agile coach in the summer of 2018. In this and his later role as Director of Product & Platform Experience, he oversees the OKR-ish target setting system of the product team at Crowdhouse. The aim of the system is to ensure outcome focus and alignment, but also to allow greater flexibility than the OKRs provide.
Mila AG, April 08, 2020
the Meetup has taken place,
the video is now available.
At this OKR Meetup, Thomas Staudte, Head of Key Account Management at Mila AG, reported on his experience with OKRs. Thomas has already worked with OKRs at several companies and knows the challenges and advantages of both, the introduction of OKRs and their use.

At the Meetup, he showed insights into the introduction of OKRs at Mila: Mila would like everyone to share in technical progress. An exciting mission, because in this fast environment not only new products appear every day. The trick is to keep pace as a company, while communicating the technical trends and challenges to the partners and not losing sight of your own goals - a real balancing act. Thomas introduced OKRs at Mila and not only did a lot of learnings in collaboration, but also experienced exciting cultural changes.

ADVIS, March 25, 2020
the Meetup has taken place,
the video is now available.
At this OKR Meetup, ADVIS reported on their experiences with OKRs. As a successful IT service company, ADVIS introduced OKR to the entire company around 1.5 years ago. The aim was to use OKRs to make their vision and strategy transparent so that the teams and employees can successfully work together in the same direction. As an established SME in the Bern area, it is important to ADVIS that the entire company is committed to OKRs, this means that all teams were involved from the beginning. The first step was a "dry swim" with OKRs for one quarter. In the meantime, ADVIS has learned a lot while working with OKRs and we are very happy that ADVIS shared their insights with us in the Meetup.

CAR FOR YOU, February 19, 2020
the Meetup has taken place,
video now available.
Isa Steiner, CTO at CAR FOR YOU, brought us closer to her experiences with OKRs at this Meetup. She has worked with OKRs for years and has already experienced them at startups as well as at Google:
"Ever since the industrialization, planning and goal setting processes of companies happened very much top down. When I joined the workforce in 2004, this was about to change, because modern companies realized that well educated people are not just "grateful to have a job" and the war for talents has started. In all my manager jobs I learnt that if I gave people autonomy, ownership and accountability, I can attract the best talents who will go above and beyond to reach our goals. OKRs are the perfect framework to support this mechanism. Sometimes it's surprisingly hard to make teams understand why OKRs is a great way for them to forge their own destiny. But once they see how they can use it to contribute to the greater goals with their own ideas, they adopt and start leveraging it."
